
The apartment sleeps up to six people. It has a double room, a twin room and a double sofa-bed in the lounge. There is also a travel cot. The bathroom, whilst small, contains a full size bath, integral shower, toilet, bidet and sink. There is a well equipped kitchen which is seperated by a stylish wall from the lounge-diner. There is a small balcony which is accessible via patio doors
Entertainment is provided by a portable stereo with CD/radio/cassette, a TV/DVD combi and various books and games. For your comfort there is air conditioning and fans are also provided. During the cooler months, there are also heaters provided and the air conditioning can be set to warm.
Approximately 10 metres from the apartment is the communal pool. This is only accessible by the building's residents and their guests who must all be in possession of pool passes. These passes will be available to you on your arrival. Please note that as most residents are Spanish, the pool tends to operate around the Spanish working day (i.e. 10am - 3pm and 5pm - 8pm). The pool is open from 15th June to 15th September. Please check the board for timings at the pool side. The pool has both deep and shallow ends and also a separate shallow area for infants. On the lowest basement level (there are two levels) we have our own private parking space (No 72) which may be used by guests and is accessible via two elevators. As well as providing parking (which may be difficult at street level at peak times) it also provides security and keeps your car cool and comfortable for the start of your next journey.
There is a large communal roof terrace, accessible by elevators to the top floor and a flight of stairs from the top floor to the roof. This may be used for sunbathing if you wish, but is primarily used for drying washing on the washing lines provided. From here you can enjoy 360 degree views of the surrounding area with limited views of the sea and better views of the local salt lakes.
Our ground floor apartment is contained within an apartment block on Calle San Luis on the junction with Calle Barcelona. The building name is Bahia del Puerto II. It has secure key access and all the apartments are contactable via intercom. On entering the building, access to the ground floor is by a small flight of steps or a ramp at the side of the steps.
